The Armenian Embassy in Austria has issued a statement noting: "Dear compatriots, considering the situation that has developed in Vienna and the anti-terrorist operations, we ask you to remain vigilant and avoid unnecessary movements while following the authorities' instructions. Earlier, it was reported that a shooting occurred near a synagogue in the center of Vienna the day before. There are casualties and injuries, including one police officer. It was later revealed that several people were injured, the assailant detonated himself, and a second suspect is still at large. According to preliminary data, the police have detained one suspect.
