Detention Selected as a Measure Against Syrian Mercenary: Investigative Committee
The investigation into the aggressive war unleashed and conducted by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan along the entire contact line of the Republic of Artsakh, serious violations of international humanitarian law during international terrorism and armed clashes, criminal orders issued during armed confrontations, and cases of mercenarism continues at the forensic department of the RA Investigative Committee.
Within this framework, a decision has been made to involve Muhhrab Muhammad Al Shakhri as an accused under Article 389 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (international terrorism), Articles 34-390, Part 1, Point 1, and Part 3, Point 1 (serious violations of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts), and Article 395, Part 3 (mercenarism). On November 2, 2020, detention was selected as a measure for him.
The preliminary investigation continues, as reported by the Investigative Committee.
