Military Police Discover Weapons and Ammunition: Ministry of Defense of Armenia

On October 29, at approximately 23:40, employees of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia stopped a vehicle driven by B.M., a driver and laborer of military unit N, at the "Shake" checkpoint.

In the trunk of the vehicle, a double-barreled hunting rifle was discovered. A search of the vehicle's cabin and trunk revealed a pistol with an empty magazine of the "TT" type, various calibers of ammunition, military clothing and shoes, sleeping bags, binoculars, medical supplies and accessories, medicine, among other items.

B.M. stated that the vehicle and the items found in it belong to serviceman S.A. from military unit N and that he was unaware of the weapons and ammunition, asserting they had been placed in the vehicle beforehand. The circumstances are being clarified.
