Canada Suspends Military Equipment Supply to Turkey
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has declared that the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh remains extremely concerning. According to a report by Armenpress, citing Global News, Trudeau stated that he spoke two weeks ago with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as well as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, emphasizing the need to promote a peaceful resolution to the conflict, achieve de-escalation, and respect the ceasefire.
Justin Trudeau also addressed the decision to suspend military equipment supplies to Turkey. He noted that Canada halted military equipment deliveries to Turkey following reports that they were being used by Azerbaijan.
