429 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Armenia Today, 1 Citizen Dies - Ministry of Health

As of September 26, Armenia has confirmed 429 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 49,072. According to the Ministry of Health, one citizen has died from the virus in the past day, increasing the total death toll to 948.

In addition, two cases of COVID-infected patients who died from other illnesses were registered in the last day. As of September 26, the total number of such death cases is 295. The Ministry of Health reports that the deceased was a 79-year-old man who had underlying chronic diseases.

In the last day, 175 individuals have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 43,576. The number of currently treated patients stands at 4,253, an increase of 251 over the last day. A total of 4,289 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, with a cumulative total of 280,366 tests conducted to date.
