In Italy's League Opening Tour, 'Roma' vs 'Verona' Match Ends in Draw

Roma hosted Verona in the opening round of Italy's league. The team led by Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca settled for a draw. No goals were scored, ending 0-0.

In Roma's starting lineup was Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who played in the central forward position due to the absence of Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko. Mkhitaryan had several goal-scoring opportunities but was unable to convert them. He played the entire match.
