Georgia Extends Ban on International Regular Flights
The restriction on the implementation of international regular flights has been extended and will remain in effect until September 30, 2020, inclusive. This information was reported by 1Tv.ge, citing the Civil Aviation Agency.
The restriction does not apply to flights between Tbilisi and Munich (Germany), Paris (France), and Riga (Latvia).
"If the pandemic situation does not improve in Georgia and the aforementioned countries, airlines 'Lufthansa', 'Air France', and 'airBaltic' will operate the flights according to the established schedule. The decision on the gradual restoration of regular flights to other destinations will be made based on the pandemic situation," the agency stated.
