Stepantsminda-Lars Highway Open Only for Freight Transport
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that highways within the Republic of Armenia are passable.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is currently open only for freight transport due to emergency conditions.
According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit foreign nationals from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
