Some of the individuals who participated in the protests in Belarus and were subjected to assault are still remaining in the intensive care unit. Others were discharged from the hospital today; however, a long-term treatment and rehabilitation process awaits them.

As a reminder, mass protests in Belarus have not ceased since the presidential elections held on August 9, where citizens express their dissatisfaction with the election results, according to which the current president, Alexander Lukashenko, was declared the winner with over 80 percent of the votes.
