US and Taliban Establish Military Communication Channel
The United States and the extremist Taliban have created a military communication channel for data exchange. This was reported by RIA Novosti. According to the official spokesperson of the organization's political office, Suhail Shaheen, if any violations occur, the Taliban will inform the American side and vice versa.
In late February of this year, the US and the radical Afghan Taliban signed a peace agreement for the first time in over 18 years of war, under which American troops are to withdraw from Afghanistan 14 months after the deal is signed. Currently, NATO troops have already left five bases located in Afghan territory.
