EU Updates List of Countries Allowed Entry, Decrease in Numbers
The European Council has presented the updated list of countries for which the European Union's borders are open. According to Gazeta.ru, Morocco has been excluded from this list.
Meanwhile, the list still includes Australia, Georgia, Canada, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay, and Japan.
China is also on the list. However, Chinese citizens will only be able to enter the EU when the borders of the People’s Republic of China are open for Europeans.
At the end of June, the EU had opened its borders to 14 countries, but the list was subsequently revised down to 11. Changes to the list are made according to the coronavirus situation in the respective countries.
