AN Spokesperson on the Resignation of the Director of the ‘Nork’ Infectious Clinical Hospital
AN spokesperson Alina Nikoghosyan wrote on her Facebook page: “Addressing the resignation of the director of the ‘Nork’ Infectious Clinical Hospital, Mher Davidiants, I would like to remind that since the beginning of the year, a merger process has started between two centers: the National Center for HIV Prevention and the ‘Nork’ Infectious Clinical Hospital.
In the newly formed medical center, Mher Davidiants was offered the position of Deputy General, which he initially accepted, but later he refused this position. By the minister’s order, the directors of both medical centers have already been relieved of their duties in connection with the formation of the new center. After the merger of the two centers, the minister will appoint an interim director.
Mr. Davidiants has also been offered to continue cooperation in other formats acceptable to him, for example, by engaging in scientific and educational activities. The ministry and the minister highly value Mher Davidiants’ contributions to the fight against the pandemic and regret his decision.”
