Agricultural Production Increased in Armenia Over First Six Months
According to the results from the first six months of this year, agricultural production in Armenia has increased by 1.7%, totaling 239 billion 967.3 million drams. The primary growth has been recorded in the fishing sector.
The 'Hayastan' newspaper reported that the gross agricultural and fishing output in our republic for the first half of this year amounted to 255 billion 750.8 million drams, which is an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period last year. Officially, the volume of crop production amounted to 83 billion 543 million drams, reflecting a 1.4% increase from last year's figures.
