24-hour suspension of 10 hotels in Tsaghkadzor and Erebuni Municipality
The Armenian Health and Labor Inspection Body has today conducted 24-hour suspensions at 10 hotels operating in Tsaghkadzor. The Western Territorial Center of the organization has prohibited the admission of guests to the branches belonging to the following operators: “Artat Group” LLC, “New Horizon Group INC” main sports complex in Tsaghkadzor, “Elegant Resort” LLC, “Hjitur” LLC, “Susanna Soghakyan” individual entrepreneur, “Edmond Khachatryan” individual entrepreneur, “Bagratyan Manvel” individual entrepreneur, “Norair Virabyan” individual entrepreneur, “Sialia” LLC, and “Vagharsh and Sons Concern” LLC.
Simultaneously, the Erebuni administrative district of Yerevan has been suspended for 24 hours due to violations of safety rules established by the authorities during a prior inspection by the inspection body’s working groups.
The Health and Labor Inspection Body's intensified inspections continue throughout the country. Considering the active tourist season, special attention is being given to hotels and resorts. Observations from the inspection body indicate frequent violations of safety rules intended to prevent the spread of the pandemic among these operators. Specifically, the operations of dozens of hotels in Tsaghkadzor have been temporarily banned based on these violations.
During this summer season, there is also significant movement of citizens to swimming pools. Specific safety rules established by the authorities are in place for these locations, and compliance is under scrutiny as well. Adhering to these norms is critically important, as neglecting them significantly increases the risk of contagion among these operators.
The Inspection Body informs that stricter administrative measures will be applied in cases of repeated violations. Surprise inspections will continue at an intensified pace.
