Young Armenian Nurse Killed in Beirut Explosion

Lebanese media have reported the death of Jessica Bejzian, who was at her workplace in Roum Hospital during the explosion at the Beirut port. The young Armenian woman was a nurse and, according to reports, was trapped under the collapsed ceiling. The hospital is located in the Ashrafieh district and is very close to the Beirut port, where a massive explosion occurred on August 4, reports Arevelq.

Jessica Bejzian was a graduate of the Mesrobian Armenian school in Lebanon and was a member of the Lebanese Nurses Association.
