Six Armenian Casualties Confirmed from Powerful Explosion in Beirut: Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, has announced on her Facebook page that the number of Armenian casualties from the explosion in Beirut has currently reached six.
A working group has been formed at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to coordinate targeted assistance to Lebanon with the crisis management structures of the country. The Armenian embassy in Lebanon is in constant contact with local authorities to jointly assess the needs of the Lebanese side and the scope of assistance required.
Simultaneously, communication is maintained with Armenian community organizations to evaluate their needs. The embassy in Lebanon is operating on an emergency basis and has established a hotline.
Representatives of the media are requested to communicate exclusively with me to allow the embassy to carry out all coordination efforts without interruption. Information about the measures being taken will be provided additionally.
