Attempt to Steal Pipes from Gazprom Armenia Company

On May 14, as a result of operations carried out by officers of the Hrazdan division of the police, оперативные данные were obtained that pipes were being dismantled on the Hrazdan-Zovaber road.

At the site, a police operational group discovered several individuals who were dismantling 500 mm diameter pipes through welding.

These individuals were apprehended on suspicion and their vehicle, crane, and tractor present at the scene were moved to the department's specially protected area.

One of the detainees admitted that he did not have any permission to dismantle the pipes and intended to steal them, but was caught before completing the act.

The police determined that the pipes belonged to Gazprom Armenia LLC. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
