Over Fifty People Escape Quarantine in Kyiv
Recently, more than 50 individuals who returned to Kyiv from Qatar and were under quarantine have escaped from one of the hotels. This was announced by Ukraine's Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko during a broadcast on 112 Ukraine.
Gerashchenko stated that they managed to find a way to escape from the quarantine zone and added that law enforcement cannot 'keep people by force.' However, those who escaped will have to pay a fine of 17,000 Ukrainian hryvnias, which is approximately $617.
The Ukrainian official noted that those who escaped are relatively wealthy and can afford to pay such fines.
