Minor Resident of Voskavan Injured by Gunfire from Adversary Forces; Criminal Case Initiated

On March 30, 2020, around 19:00, gunfire from enemy positions resulted in a minor resident of Voskavan, located in the Tavush Province's Noyemberyan community, sustaining a gunshot wound to the right side of the chest while on the balcony of a residential building.

The victim, born in 2004, was injured by rounds fired from weapons of various calibers. In connection with the incident, the Tavush Province Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case based on points 6 and 13 of part 2 of Article 34-104 of the RA Criminal Code (attempted murder with the intent to unlawfully deprive a group of individuals of life in a manner dangerous to many, motivated by national hatred).

The investigation is ongoing.
