‘As far as I understand, the revolution has reached the army’ – Stepan Danielyan

‘As far as I understand, the revolution has reached the army; the new generation – the soldiers – are taking power from the old generation – the officers. This was stated by political scientist Stepan Danielyan on his Facebook page.

‘What needs to happen is happening. The government’s door is the people’s door, and the military units are the soldiers’ home. It remains to elect commissars of the revolution from among the soldiers to oversee the officers.

The soldiers have also made a revolution; they left the military units and joined the protesters, and no one has been punished for this. We are now reaping the consequences of all this,’ he noted.
