Questioning Education and Science Minister Araik Harutyunyan: Mane Tandilyan

During a Q&A session with the government, LHK MP Mane Tandilyan inadvertently forgot the full title of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports while addressing Minister Araik Harutyunyan. “I am directing my question to education and science… Mr. Harutyunyan, to you,” Tandilyan said, prompting laughter in the hall.

Her question concerned a project aimed at providing free education for individuals with disabilities from the third group. Tandilyan noted that the project had passed its first reading but did not succeed in the second reading. The reason was the government representative's promise that another relevant law would be presented.

Minister Araik Harutyunyan responded that the volumes of the project had been so large that they were only now being sent to the National Assembly.
