Accident in Charentsavan

On February 8, at 19:13, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that an accident occurred near the "Gangraher Tghayi" monument in Charentsavan, Kotayk Province. There were no casualties, but there was a gas leak.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a "Mercedes C" vehicle (driver: Garik H., born in 1989) had veered off the roadway and collided with a guardrail.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
