VIDEO: Israel Strikes Damascus as Aircraft with 172 Passengers Attempts Landing
On February 6, the Israeli army launched airstrikes against Syrian air defense systems, posing a threat to an Airbus-320 aircraft carrying 170 passengers. According to TASS news agency, the flight was en route from Tehran to Damascus. Due to the missile strikes, the aircraft was forced to land at the Russian military base in Khmeimim.
