Police Warning to Drivers

The Police of the Republic of Armenia has issued a warning to drivers: "Dear drivers, we inform you that due to heavy snowfall and inadequate visibility, the Vardenants mountain pass (Selim) is closed, and the Sotk-Karvachar road section is impassable for all types of vehicles. In the Gegharkunik and Shirak regions, there is a blizzard due to strong winds; therefore, for safety reasons, it is advised that drivers use this route only if absolutely necessary and exclusively with winter tires," warns the police.
