Three Cars Collide, Injuries Reported
On February 6, a major traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 20:40, on Yeghvard Highway, the cars with the license plates 35 SG 466 (Mercedes), 35 PN 744 (Mercedes), and 50 XO 777 (Toyota) collided in front of the ‘Bokonik’ round-the-clock shopping center.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamsyan, one individual with bodily injuries was transported to Armenia Medical Center. The emergency medical response team arrived promptly, providing on-site assistance to the driver before transferring them to the hospital.
Officers from the Yerevan Road Police and representatives from insurance companies also arrived quickly at the scene. The drivers underwent sobriety tests, which confirmed that all were sober.
