Armenian Soldier Killed in Syria
An Armenian soldier was killed during clashes led by the Syrian army in the village of Sarakep, Syria, on February 5. This was reported by the Facebook page of the Aleppo-based newspaper "Gandzasar."
The fallen soldier has been identified as Jean Gatanjyan, born in 1988. His burial will take place today at the Armenian Catholic Church of the Holy Cross in Aleppo.
