Chinese Nationals Treated at Nork Infectious Disease Hospital Discharged
Two Chinese nationals who received treatment at the Nork Infectious Disease Hospital have been discharged from the facility.
Alina Nikoghosyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health of Armenia, informed Armenpress about the development: "As you know, the tests related to the coronavirus have been negative. The Chinese nationals received the necessary medical assistance and were discharged," she stated.
The individuals were admitted to the hospital a few days ago, exhibiting symptoms of a cold. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health reports that laboratory tests for six hospitalized patients suspected of having the virus have returned negative for both coronavirus and influenza.
Armenia announced on February 2 that it already has 200 tests available for diagnosing the coronavirus.
