‘My Step’ Faction to Convene Extraordinary Meeting: Makunts

Today, during a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly, the head of the ‘My Step’ faction, Lilit Makunts, addressed the crisis surrounding the Constitutional Court, stating that the authorities have done everything possible to prevent it from deepening. She noted, 'And in doing so, we've adhered to the letter of the law, which is also reflected in the reports of the Co-Rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.'

Makunts also mentioned that they found it necessary to convene an extraordinary meeting of the faction to discuss solutions to the crisis surrounding the Constitutional Court.

Responding to a journalist's question about why Hrayr Tovmasyan is seeking to usurp the judicial power, Makunts indicated that she does not want to answer that question at this moment, adding that a response will be provided during the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly that will be convened on this topic.
