Arakel Movsisyan (Shmays) Believes His Son Has No Connection to Soldier Killed in Artsakh on January 30
Former RA Parliament member Arakel Movsisyan (Shmays) believes that his son has no connection to the soldier killed in Artsakh on January 30. The former representative stated this in an interview with Factor.am.
“An investigation is currently underway, and I will not speak until the truth is clarified. I am confident that my son is not involved in such matters. I express my condolences to the parents of the deceased soldier and will personally join them in revealing the truth. For me, it makes no difference whether my son has died or this soldier has. Let the investigation proceed,” he said.
Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan also mentioned in a conversation with reporters today that there has been a “certain escalation of relations” between the arrested and deceased soldiers. When asked if his son could have been the cause of these strained relations, Movsisyan replied, “The minister is not an investigator; I won’t elaborate further.”
