Mars Avia Airline's Operations Suspended
The operations of Mars Avia airline have been suspended due to several shortcomings identified during inspections conducted by the Civil Aviation Committee from January 14 to 17, 2020, which directly impact flight safety. This information was provided by the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.
“Dear citizens, during the inspections conducted by the Civil Aviation Committee from January 14 to 17, 2020, at Mars Avia airline, several shortcomings were recorded that directly affect flight safety. In light of the above, the operator's certificate of Mars Avia airline has been suspended effective February 1, 2020, and a three-month period has been granted to rectify these deficiencies.
We also inform you that the aircraft of Mars Avia airline are operated in South Sudan, the Central African Republic, and Chad,” the statement said.
