UK Positive on Trump's Middle East Proposals
The United Kingdom believes that U.S. President Donald Trump's proposals for the settlement of the Middle East could be a positive step. According to AuroraNews.am, this was reported by the RIA Novosti agency.
According to the publication, such a conclusion was made following the official statement released about the phone conversation between Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President Trump.
"The leaders discussed the U.S. proposals for the Palestine-Israel peace process, which could be a positive step forward," the statement reads.
It should be noted that Trump has offered the Palestinians to establish an independent state if their leadership chooses the path of peace. "President Abbas, I want you to know that if you choose the path of peace, America and other countries will be with you, helping you in various areas, we will be by your side at every step, we will be there to assist you," emphasized Donald Trump.
