Political technologist Karen Kocharyan has commented on the arrest of Narek Malayan, the founder of the "VETO" movement.

“I just watched the footage of Narek Malayan being taken into custody. I wonder why I immediately recalled the shooter at Erebuni Plaza,” wrote Kocharyan, referring to the individual who fired shots at the Erebuni Plaza on January 23, before being escorted to the police station by the acting head of the police and transported in his service vehicle after handing over his weapon.
