Edmon Marukyan Announces Good News from the PACE

Leader of the Bright Armenia faction, Edmon Marukyan, has announced "good news" from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on his Facebook page.

“Today, I have been elected as the first deputy chair of one of the most important committees of PACE, the Committee on Human Rights and Legal Affairs. The committee chair has three deputies. The nomination was submitted by the political group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE). The Committee on Human Rights and Legal Affairs consists of 91 members representing the national parliaments of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe. The committee has three subcommittees,” Marukyan informed.
