Edmon Marukyan's Response to Nikol Pashinyan: 'He Doesn't Realize That...'

The leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, Edmon Marukyan, wrote on his Facebook page:

'In response to Nikol Pashinyan's grandiloquent thoughts, he does not realize from his superprime ministerial heights that he has already mentally connected with the Republican Party of Armenia, and everyone seems “Ashotyan” to him. Nikol Pashinyan doesn’t understand that, through his easy actions, the quality of political discourse has been lowered to the level of the ‘criminal subculture’ characterized by the ability to 'bring it together or not.'

The Prime Minister, who gathered 73 percent of the vote under the influence of revolutionary euphoria, doesn't realize that the term 'people' is not limited to just his voters. He has not yet understood that this entire story is not about the personality of Serzh Sargsyan, but rather about the flawed system, which he cannot and does not want to change. In this case, individuals are secondary; if the system does not change, then individuals find themselves on the same level.

And finally, after all these years of working together, Nikol Pashinyan has not been able to 'bring me together' either. Mr. Prime Minister, I am Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the third largest political force in Armenia. Do not forget that and pay attention to your rhetoric.'
