About the 'Elevator' Negotiations: Araik Harutyunyan
“A very important event took place yesterday: a document was signed between Tumo and the German KfW bank, marking the beginning of substantial cooperation between the two organizations,” wrote the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page. He noted that German Chancellor Angela Merkel's visit in 2018 was very successful.
“During those days, she also visited Tumo. Although the visit was brief and we could only quickly discuss the opportunities of Tumo in the elevator and corridors, the remarkable thing was that shortly after the visit, relevant instructions were given to begin negotiations. Thanks to the efforts of the Armenian and German sides, KfW became Tumo's partner and is preparing to initiate centers not only in Berlin but also in other German cities,” he added. “One of our important commitments is the export of Armenian educational and innovative brands. The document signed yesterday is one of the best examples of that.”
