Zoehrabyan Addresses Chief Prosecutor Over Unauthorized Access to Her Account

The MP from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zoehrabyan, has officially appealed to the Chief Prosecutor of Armenia regarding unauthorized access to her account by an unknown individual. Zoehrabyan shared this information during a conversation with journalists and added that she has submitted all relevant materials.

“Just a moment ago, I was speaking with the UN representative in Armenia. We are also discussing holding joint parliamentary hearings with the Human Rights Defender. I consider hate speech on social media a serious issue for our national security. Hate speech, vulgarity, and insults have moved from the virtual realm into real life, which must be stopped,” stated Zoehrabyan.

According to the MP, all resources are in the hands of the authorities. They could attempt to halt all of this. “No one should be a target of hate speech. At the same time, I do not believe that we will be able to find a balanced legislative solution that does not turn into a Damoclean sword for the restriction of freedom of expression,” she added.
