Prime Minister's Spokesman on His Dismissal
I am very positive about this. This is what Vladimir Karapetyan, the spokesman of the Prime Minister who was dismissed today, said in an interview with NEWS.am on January 9.
"I am not at all upset; I have made a very positive statement, and that is how I feel," he said.
When asked whether his positive mindset is related to receiving a new job offer, Karapetyan replied, "No, I am positive because I have worked with an excellent team, and this was a very good experience for me. I believe that everything is going very well."
In the interview with the media, Karapetyan did not clarify whether he has received a job offer.
When asked if there had been complaints about him, he said, "There will be more; I am not aware."
Referring to the statement made by Narek Samsonyan, the president of the Civic Awareness NGO, who claimed that Karapetyan's accreditation of a Rustavi 2 journalist to ask Putin a question was the basis for his dismissal, Karapetyan stated, "I strongly deny that."
