Armenian-Georgian Border Fire Extinguished, Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports
The fire near the "Gumbut" hillside close to the village of Shenokh in the Lori province has been extinguished as of 14:30 today. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It is recalled that the "911" service received reports of the fire as early as December 24. Emergency response teams from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The firefighting efforts also involved 20 employees from the "Tumanyan Forestry" branch of the State Forest Committee and workers from the "Teghut" LLC.
