Protests Continue in France
Workers of the public transport system in France continued their protests on December 28, despite the upcoming holiday season. According to Interfax, the protests have significantly impacted the operation of express trains, with only 60% of trains servicing their scheduled routes.
Additionally, several metro lines have been closed, and public transport is experiencing disruptions in the suburbs of Paris.
French Transport Minister Élisabeth Borne noted that there are signs of a resolution to the situation, as the disruptions have not been as extensive as in previous days.
The strike has been ongoing for several weeks, with workers expressing their dissent against the government's new pension reform measures.
