Traffic Paralyzed in France Due to Strike
Approximately 40 percent of train drivers at the French National Railway Company (SNCF) continue their strike against pension reforms, despite the Christmas holidays. This was reported by the Agence France-Presse on December 26.
According to a representative of SNCF, “42.1 percent of train drivers, 24 percent of controllers, and 13.8 percent of dispatchers are participating in the strike.”
The strike has resulted in a paralysis of the traffic.
