Prime Minister Promises to Personally Monitor Investigation: Father of Deceased Soldier

Relatives of the deceased soldier have been holding a protest in front of the Government for several hours, demanding to meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Arthur Ajemyan's relatives had closed Tigran Mets Avenue, and the situation remained tense. They stated that they would not open the road until Nikol Pashinyan met with them.

Prime Minister Pashinyan accepted the family members of the soldier who died in the army, expressing his condolences regarding the soldier's death. Arthur's grandfather recounted that his parents had been divorced for a long time, and he had lived with his mother. Upon reaching adulthood, he came to live with his grandfather, stating that he wanted to enlist and serve, although he was not listed anywhere.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister promised the citizens that he would personally oversee the investigation and even provide information regarding the case that would be kept confidential.

Ajemyan's father asked for mutual assistance in his conversation with Pashinyan: "During the revolution, I stayed here for days for you to become our protector, and now I demand you to protect me and reveal the case," he said.

Pashinyan instructed to prepare a report on the non-confidential facts of the investigation for the relatives. "I want to officially apologize for not being able to resolve the issues you raised earlier, to prevent us from facing this situation today. This is all I can say at this moment," he noted.

“The Prime Minister has asked us to wait for the conclusion of the investigation. We are satisfied with the Prime Minister’s attitude, despite the fact that we were not informed of the incident that occurred here, not even that they broke our son’s picture,” said Ajemyan’s father in a conversation with reporters after the meeting.
