Grandmaster Karen Grigoryan Wins Elgoibar International Tournament
Grandmaster Karen Grigoryan has emerged as the winner of an international tournament held in Spain.
The Elgoibar international round-robin tournament in Spain concluded with the participation of 10 chess players, including 4 grandmasters, 4 international masters, 1 women’s international master, and 1 FIDE master. Grigoryan, representing Armenia, secured the title with 7 points out of a possible 9, making him the sole winner of the tournament.
The Armenian chess player advanced 1.5 points ahead of those in the 2nd to 5th positions.
