VIDEO: Styopa Safaryan Appointed President of the Public Council

The government has approved the appointment of Styopa Safaryan as the President of the Public Council. The Prime Minister stated that the newly appointed president faces a complex task: proving that the Council, as an advisory body of the government, can be effective.

“In essence, since the very first day of its creation, the question of the Public Council's appropriateness and right to exist has always been in question... A heavy mission awaits,” said N. Pashinyan.
