Who Did Vanetsyan and Ghazinyan Meet and What Did They Discuss in Moscow?
The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports that former NSS head Arthur Vanetsyan and leader of the "One Armenia" party Arthur Ghazinyan made a joint visit to Moscow, where they met with Armenian businessmen Samvel Karapetyan, Kamo Avagumyan, former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, as well as representatives of the Russian government elite.
During the visit, the issue of obtaining appropriate funding for conducting opposition activities in Armenia was discussed, for which Vanetsyan has created the "Homeland" foundation.
According to our sources, the negotiations went successfully, and Russian-Armenian businessmen promised to resolve the funding issue. It is clear that all of this could not have come to fruition without the blessing of the Russian authorities.
