VIDEO: Pedestrian Accident on Nairi Zaryan Street; Authorities Refuse to Install Traffic Lights

This morning, a pedestrian accident occurred at the crosswalk on Nairi Zaryan Street in Yerevan. Two women were injured and were transported to the Mikayelyan Institute of Surgery.

"As a result of the accident, we have admitted two women, both of whom are in stable condition. One of them has sustained a closed fracture, and we are preparing to operate," a representative from the hospital told Auroranews.

It is noteworthy that installed cameras have recorded how the incident happened. Auroranews has repeatedly reported on the necessity of installing traffic lights in this area, yet the authorities have still taken no action.
