Lights of the Main Christmas Tree Lit in New York

Today, the annual ceremony of lighting the Christmas tree took place in New York. The 60-year-old tree, standing over 23 meters tall, is installed in Rockefeller Plaza and is adorned with enormous garlands, which total approximately 8 kilometers in length. On these garlands, there are 50,000 colorful lights. At the top, there is a massive crystal star with 70 points, weighing around 450 kilograms. It was crafted from 3 million crystals by artisans from the Austrian company Swarovski.
