Treatment of Child Infected with HIV Under Arsen Torosyan's Supervision
The Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, did not provide specific details regarding the case of a young child infected with HIV. During a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly on November 1, Arsen Torosyan stated that further information would be disclosed once the ongoing investigation is completed.
“We have a tragic case where the child has been found to be infected with HIV, and we are doing everything possible to ensure that their life is not in danger. The remaining questions will be addressed by the investigation. The child has received treatment in multiple medical centers, but it has not been confirmed at which medical institution the infection occurred. It has been confirmed that the parents do not have HIV,” said Torosyan.
The treatment of the child infected with HIV is under the supervision of the Minister of Health.
