Accident: Car Rolls Off Zod Bridge, One Dead

On November 1, at around 14:00, the driver of a Mercedes with license plate number 36 NТ 715 lost control of the vehicle on the 52nd kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway under unknown circumstances. The car veered off the roadway and, after rolling several times, ended up in a ravine.

According to reports from the scene by Shamshyan.com, one person died en route to the hospital due to injuries sustained in the accident, while another individual was transported with injuries to the Vedi medical center.

The emergency response team from the Ararat Fire and Rescue Service, as well as service members of the second battalion’s second platoon of the Police Traffic Department, arrived at the site. The acting head of the Ararat regional police, Arthur Zakaryan, also arrived at the scene.

The police and investigative department are working to establish the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured party. By the investigator's order, the vehicle will be moved to the designated secured area of the Ararat police department.
