Entry to Amberd Fortress and Lori Fortress Sites Now Paid

The "Amberd Fortress" and "Lori Fortress" cultural heritage reserves will shift to a ticketed system starting October 10.

According to Ara Tarverdyan, director of the State Non-Commercial Organization for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Reservoirs and Historical Environments, the following ticket prices have been established for entry into the Amberd Fortress cultural heritage reserve:

• For citizens of Armenia and EAEU member states: 700 AMD
• For foreigners: 1400 AMD
• School-aged children: 100 AMD
• Family members of soldiers who died while performing military duties in Armenia and Artsakh, pensioners, and refugees: 200 AMD
• Students in cultural fields: 80 AMD
• Guided tour in Armenian: 2000 AMD
• Guided tour in foreign languages: 4000 AMD

For the "Lori Fortress" cultural heritage reserve:

• For citizens of Armenia and EAEU member states: 650 AMD
• For foreigners: 1300 AMD
• School-aged children: 100 AMD
• Family members of soldiers who died while performing military duties in Armenia and Artsakh, pensioners, and refugees: 150 AMD
• Students in cultural fields: 80 AMD
• Guided tour in Armenian: 2000 AMD
• Guided tour in foreign languages: 4000 AMD
