Stabbing in Republic Square

In the early hours, around 00:50, the Shengavit Police Department received a call from the Shengavit Medical Center reporting that a 23-year-old citizen had been admitted with stab wounds. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

While doctors fought for the victim's life, police officers, through operational and investigative measures, discovered that the young man had been stabbed in Republic Square.

Shortly thereafter, police apprehended 22-year-old Vladimir V., a resident of Yerevan, on suspicion of committing the stated crime. A criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 112 of the RA Criminal Code, and since the incident occurred in the Central administrative district, the case will be transferred to the central police department.
